About The Gothique Film Society presents Dracula’s Daughter (1936) and Lady Frankenstein (1971)
The Gothique Film Society concludes its 55th season with a couple of ‘dark ladies’.
Dracula’s Daughter (USA/1936/70mins), directed by Lambert Hillyer and starring Gloria Holden and Otto Kruger.
A Hungarian countess, daughter of you-know-who, seeks help from a noted psychiatrist to free herself of a mysterious evil influence.
Lady Frankenstein (Italy/1971/84mins), directed by Mel Welles and starring Rosalba Neri and Joseph Cotten.
When Dr. Frankenstein is killed by the monster he created, his daughter continues his experiments – and, well, the monster is rather well-built!
