About How Eco-Schools enriches student's learning: practical guide and accessing funding

Whether your school is just starting to think about how to offer climate change education or already has an established eco-committee, this session will provide ideas and offer some next steps on the journey to becoming a Green Flag school.

A Climate Action Outreach Coordintor will give an introduction to the Eco-Schools programme and details about the practical and financial support being provided by Waltham Forest Council.

You will hear from teachers who have been teaching students about climate change and empowering them to take action.

Everyone will be invited to share and discuss how a student led eco-committee can reach all students and the wider community.

There will be time for Q&A and networking in breakout rooms.

This Teach-Meet is the first in a series of Climate Action Support networking and CPD events run by Suntrap Forst Centre on behalf of Waltham Forest council. It is free for school and college Eco-Leads and any teachers or school staff who are enthusiastic about the role schools play in creating a flourishing future.
