About Hornbeam Herbals: Community Medicine Making
Hornbeam Herbals starts the new year with the launch of a regular community medicine making session.
Community Herbal Hands is an informal collective of plant medicine growers, gatherers, makers and users who aim to come together to serve our communities, cultivate healthful bonds and systems and exchange health knowledge through our connections with our local land and plant life.
We are reaching out to those in our communities to ask what herbal healthcare might help people, and we are learning new skills in making medicines that respond to our health needs.
January’s Hornbeam Herbals session will share the idea of Community Herbal Hands, ask participants what directions, needs and resources we have so far, and plan a programme of monthly medicine-making evenings with seasonal remedies to be created for the community.
We will make a winter remedy together as the first sample of our journey.
Look forward to seeing you there for sharing and healing exchange!
