About Mindful Morning - introductory workshop
This 3-hour morning workshop is intended to offer an introduction to what mindfulness is, why we need it in today's fast-pasted world, and how it can help our relationship towards stress and difficulty. . The workshop is mainly experiential. There will be some background theory and information on the neuroscience behind mindfulness, what it is used for, and where you can find out more, but mainly the time will be spent experiencing some of the practices in a relaxed and friendly setting, including:
- Mindful eating
- Mindful breathing
- Body scan practice
- Mindful movement
All of the practices will be guided, and so you don’t need to do anything in advance/at the session.

Mindfulness can, at times be a challenging practice, and so the workshop is not recommended if you are currently severely depressed or have recently suffered a particularly stressful life event (such as a bereavement, for example). Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries on this before booking a place.
Places at this event are limited so early booking is advised. The workshop session is for ages 18+ only.
Because numbers are restricted, no refunds are available once tickets have been purchased.
