Easter Forest School for 4-11s

Come and enjoy three mornings of Easter forest school fun down on Low Hall nature reserve behind St James park, Walthamstow. We'll be making our own nests, tiny ones to take home, and huge ones to sit inside. We'll create baby animals using natural materials, and hunt for eggs. We'll make bunny ears and play games, as well as all the usual mud kitchen, potion making, hammock chilling, den building, bucket pulleying, bug hunting fun. There'll be an opportunity for children to learn safe knife skills and spend time whittling, and to use tools such as the bowsaw and palm drill for a purpose.

This ticket gives you access to all three morning sessions (Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, and Wednesday 11th 9.30-11am) but if you can't make all of them, that's ok. I offer sessions in chunks as forest school is best experienced on a longer term basis than just as a one off, as children grow resilence and confidence in this new environment over time.
