About Curious Wilds Holiday Club- forest school for 5-11s

Curious Wilds is offering its first fully outdoor 9.30-3.30 holiday club!

Drop your kids off at 9.30 in St Peter in the Forest's churchyard. Once we're all assembled, we'll head off into the forest to explore, create, and play. We'll make our way back to base camp in the churchyard for lunch, and cook some treats over the campfire to supplement our packed lunches. After lunch, it's back into the forest to play some more! You can pick them up happy, muddy, and tired, at 3.30, from the churchyard.

There'll be a good team of us, some of us forest school trained, all of us in love with the outdoors and in possession of a valid DBS check. I've got a certificate in Outdoor First Aid and have been running forest school sessions for over two years now (after a background in primary school teaching).

There's a minimum commitment to two sessions, as forest school is best experienced over a number of sessions. I'm hoping that most children will be able to attend all four sessions, as they will build up their skills and confidence over time. There's a sibling discount for children living within the same family only.

Terms & conditions for Curious Wilds Holiday Club- forest school for 5-11s

Forest school will take place in all weathers. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child attends wearing appropriate clothing for the weather, and with a packed lunch and a couple of snacks. After booking, you'll be sent through a medical consent form. It is important that these are returned before your child attends forest school

In the event of a high wind, the session will still run, however we will take the children on a trip away from the trees, to a library, or a wide open space, or similar.
