Jack and Trina first met on top of the highest mountain in Australia, Mount Kosciusko, during the winter ski season of 2014. It was during this 3-month period that Jack, as head chef to the staff, cooked so much good veggie & vegan food that Trina and so many others turned veggie for the whole season!
Trina, coming from a dance background, was practicing yoga on and off throughout her late teens early 20s, but her biggest pull to yoga came when she left the UK to travel, she dove head first into a new world, one that included exploring all the yoga studios Sydney, New Zealand, Bali and Thailand had to offer – practicing all round the world she soon realised how much it was helping her move through and overcome many anxieties, which led her to train as a teacher under the guidance of Michael James Wong and Emily Clare Hill on her return to London. Qualified in Vinyasa and Mandala, she’s currently teaching around London with the hope to share the positive experience and allow others to feel the benefits that yoga can bring to the mind and body.
Jack aka “El Nomadic Chef” has never had a full-time job longer than 3 months, due to his wanderlust nature and urge to immerse himself in new cultures, cuisines & places around the world. During Veganuary 2018, Jack launched his “Nomadic Supper Clubs” combining food and travel both on and off the plate. All the Supper Clubs promise to be unique due to their spontaneous nature. Original, tasty plant-based dishes are inspired by the local markets & Jack’s creativity on the day, hence why the delicious menu is not revealed until the big day! Each course is presented by Jack himself, who indeed loves to break the barrier between the kitchen and the dining room, allowing for more of an interactive & personal experience. Jack would love to invite you on a food adventure and experience a new way of eating!
