About Kimchi with Brixton Pound
Eating hyper-processed foods leads to nutrient deficiency, physical lethargy and increased plastic waste. Preserving foods reverses these effects, reduces waste and diversifies your diet! Cheap, easy and good for your gut, this DIY session will show you how to make kimchi in your own home. Join Sean Roy Parker, cafe manager at Brixton Pound, for a hands-on workshop on how to prepare surplus produce, make kimchi paste and construct your jars for storage. The Hornbeam is a lovely and long-established community centre and cafe in Walthamstow, east London, all about low-cost & sustainable living. We're very excited to be holding our workshop there! www.hornbeam.org.uk
