About Some new kind of kick presents Cry-Baby (1990)
Some new kind of kick – celluloid rock n roll trash on a Friday night.
“Well, you’re a pretty little Square, wanna hang out with us Drapes tonight?”
I find it extraordinary that this wasn’t a hit on release and I must admit to a warm soft spot for those who sport Cry-Baby tattoos. Iggy manages to be nekid for his entrance, a galaxy of stars obviously have a blast. The songs, the dancing, the cheap re-telling of Romeo and Juliet, it’s all perfect.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
