About Nest Box Special
Join Dorset Wild Explorers for a morning in the woods as part of National Nest Box Week. At this session we'll be learning about where and how birds make their nests, search for signs of birds in the woods and decorating your own nest box to take home.
Price is for one child and one nest box. Accompanying parents and non-walking siblings free.
If you'd like to find out about prices for sibling groups please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Terms & conditions for Nest Box Special
Location – the sessions are in the woodland between Talbot Drive and Langside Avenue, just off Alder Road in Poole. Nearest postcodes either BH12 5ED or BH12 5BN.
Clothing – we’ll be out in the woods in all weathers so recommend that your little people (and you) come prepared. In rainy conditions bring waterproofs and wellies. Definitely wear clothes you don’t mind getting muddy!
Facilities – there are no facilities in the woods, nearest toilets are Sainbury’s Alder Hills or in the Aldi car park at Wallisdown.
Poor weather – we’ll run if there’s a bit of rain and just put up some shelters. If there are very high winds or storms we may need to cancel, in which case a refund would be issued.
About us – Kate is trained as a Forest School Leader (Level 3) and in first aid and has many years’ experience working in nature and the outdoors. We have permission from Talbot Village Trust to use this area of woodland for the playgroup.
