About Xero + The Sunny Devils + Zola
XERO
XERO are an Alternative Metal/Progressive Rock band formed in Newcastle and currently based in Guildford; a powerhouse quartet consisting of Steff, Jamie, Jordan & Alex. Their music is fuelled by a mutual love for groove-based Alternative Metal, a disdain for posing over playing and the intent to combine their myriad of influences to create a gap that hasn't yet been filled.
2017 saw XERO release their first EP, ‘Sequence’ - produced by Neil Kennedy (Press To Meco, Milk Teeth) - followed by two UK tours and multiple gigs in notable venues across the UK, supporting bands such as SÜMER & The Wholls. Their single, Podha, gained them support from Nick Roberts at BBC Introducing.
XERO started 2018 recording their follow-up EP, ‘Dimensions’ at Metropolis Studios with Liam Nolan (Florence & The Machine, Mark Ronson), and their next two singles, Birthright and Garden, gained them respect from further various local and national radio stations, as well as online blogs such as Distorted Sound Magazine and Metal Temple.
Their live show remains deep-rooted in their identity; “...Phenomenal performance from this up and coming band; each member filled to the brim with talent and an infatuation for music. This band is one to see live as they entrance you into their music.” - Music in Time
Sick of the homogenisation of modern music, XERO have stitched a sound, woven from the fabric of their influences, that can't be found elsewhere.

THE SUNNY DEVILS
The Sunny Devils are an Alternative Rock trio formed through a will to create riff centric and melodic music that’s not scared to get heavy.
FFO: Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age
2015-2016:
After honing their sound behind closed doors, 2016 saw the band’s stage debut, hitting the gig circuit supporting some of the UK’s alt rock gems including Hyena Kill and Fizzy Blood. Between local gigs The Sunny Devils recorded single ‘It’s Electric’ at 45A-Side Recordings in Glasgow. Topping the year off, The Sunny Devils earned the chance to perform with internationally established band De Staat, fresh off a European tour as Muse’s support. The dutch group brought their eccentric brand of electro-rock to Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut with The Sunny Devils as main support.
2017-18:
2017 Saw the band further explored the scenes of Scotland’s cities (Bathgate, Paisley, Edinburgh) and supported local big hitters like Anchor Lane and Megalomatic in at their respective EP launches.
Later that year The Sunny Devils began building up a bank of headline shows running into 2018 including a single launch for ‘No More Surprises’. The band used this new release as an opportunity to expand in Newcastle with fellow Alt Rockers XERO.
‘My Undoing’ was released in the run up to on their long overdue debut EP which will hit stores 8th December 2018 supported by an EP Launch at Audio, Glasgow with the desert alt rock Dead Coyotes.

ZOLA
Zola are an alt-rock riff-machine from Glasgow, Scotland.
Zola consists of founders Nicholas Traill (lead vocalist/guitarist) and Kian Kazeminia (backing vocalist/guitarist), as well as Rhys Kenyon (backing vocalist/drummer) and Billy McCluskie (bassist).
Zola have coiled out of the ground, monstrously gaining mass with every groggy, lurching, riff-laden step forwards into the unknown, with a self-titled debut album and single 'Eyes' putting them on the map in November 2017, and their latest single 'Swing Carousel' launching them into the sky from March 2018 - with no intention of ever coming down.
Zola have had their latest single 'Swing Carousel' featured in Spotify's 'New Noise' playlist, and have found a home in the hearts and playlists of thousands of listeners around the world as a result, with the band's own playlists 'Under the Influence' raising the curtain to reveal the maddening mashening of styles and genres that go into the musical engineering behind their work - check out Under the Influence III!
Years of playing and rehearsing has led to countless grooves and low-octave monstrosities.
So if you see a show kicking off near you and you're free - come out and see 'em.
Otherwise, you're guaranteed to miss something. And you don't want to miss anything, do you?
