About Awkward Talks: Let’s talk about Menopause…
As people we should be able to have open discussions about what makes us who we are. Sometimes these topics can make us, or others, feel uncomfortable or like we cannot speak without judgement.
Introducing Awkward Talks, a series of meet ups for those who wish to share, learn and grow in a safe, relaxed and open space.
The next event: Let’s talk about Menopause…
What exactly is the menopause and perimenopause? How do we celebrate this next stage of womanhood? How do those experiencing it feel about it compared to those who are yet to?
For our next event we will be joined by the fantastic Menopause project who will run a workshop and discussion on what to expect, strategies and managing symptoms.
Whatever your age or gender all are welcome. You don’t have to be experiencing the menopause to attend, come and join us and learn something new.
Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start.
Tickets £3 and half the money will be donated to Eat or Heat food bank.
Free nibbles
BYOB (bring your own bottle)
There will also be a sanitary items donation box for spare pads and tampons for the local food bank Eat or Heat.
