About Mobile Apothecary #2 - subsidised ticket

Mobile Apothecary - Pay It Forward Herbal Day

11am-3pm

We return to Phytology Garden for our monthly seasonal harvesting morning followed by a creative medicine making and knowledge sharing session at The Create Place (St Margaret's House) in Bethnal Green.

This is the second outing in our 2019 programme of Mobile Apothecary days where we learn about the medicinal plants in season in the Phytology meadow, gather herbs together and make them into healing remedies with Herbalists Without Borders London. These will be distributed alongside Refugee Community Kitchen in Bethnal Green.

As it's May we'll be looking to the potent, relaxing flowers of the Elder and the Hawthorn, as well as the musky aromatic medicine of Ground Ivy to make a calming, spring allergy-relieving glycerite preparation. We'll also process seasonal herbs for tea blends and taste a fresh infusion from the garden.

Join us to learn something about plant medicine, offer your energy and hands to making stocks of healing herbal bounty for the community and share fun, food and solidarity together. Your ticket enables us to resource the project and you to pay forward your new learnt skills! Take home a bottle of medicine and the recipe also.
