About Waltham Forest Youth Services Network
22 May Youth Services Network and Young Londoners Fund Information Event
9.30am-12.30pm at Gnome House
We are delighted that Community Waltham Forest – now part of the Connecting Communities team at LBWF – have recently won a small GLA contract, in partnership with RedbridgeCVS, to organise a Youth Services Network for Waltham Forest organisations.
The Mayor's Young Londoners Fund launches for new applications on 15th May and we will hold an information event on Wednesday 22nd May to support applications. Please register for this event here. There are limited spaces available and we expect the event to be popular.
The agenda will cover the fund's application guidance and processes and information sharing about priorities and statistical context for Waltham Forest. We will share more information about the agenda nearer the time.
This event is for community sector and youth-focused organisations who are working with young people and are eligible to apply for the Young Londoners Fund. If you would like to know more about the fund and its criteria, you can view last year's information and guidance online here.
Please note that to register for and attend this event, we need to collect some information about your organisation in the registration form and to share this with the GLA, including so that we and the GLA can keep you informed about the Young Londoners Fund. Please answer all questions on the registration form and 'YES' to the last question to let us stay in touch, and also so that you will receive key notifications from the GLA about the Young Londoners Fund.
Would you like to attend a similar event in Redbridge? You can book for their event, the day before on 21 May, here. You are welcome to do this if you might be interested in working in Redbridge, or perhaps the timing will suit you better - they are our partners and they will be delivering similar content.
