About June Saturday family forest school
Here’s the Saturday forest school for June, where we’ll be celebrating International Mud Day a week early, as well as mixing mud pies, potions, and hanging out in the hammock.
The session will run from 9.30-11, and will include lots of opportunities for parents, carers, and children to play and explore together, before we finish up by toasting marshmallows around the fire.
Low Hall nature conservation area can be found just behind St James park, Walthamstow (follow the wooden 'boulders' to The Clearing, or park at Low Hall sports ground and walk the short distance past Mohsin Beg pavilion and a house into the wooded area on your right).
Terms & conditions for June Saturday family forest school
Forest school takes place in all weathers, so come dressed appropriately. In the event of high winds, the session will be cancelled and you’ll be offered an alternative date. This is a public space so your child is your responsibility at all times.
All children need a ticket, but any accompanying adults come free.
