Family Indigo Dyeing Workshop 2

Introduction to the magical powers of the indigo plant, learn a little about the history of indigo and how the dye is extracted, some basic resist techniques to make patterns and then have a go making a pattern and dyeing your own drawstring cloth bag to take home.

A simple, fun, accessible workshop for children and their caregiver to enjoy together.  Suitable for all ages from 5+.  Cost is per child with an accompanying adult and includes an organic, fairly traded cotton drawstring bag to dye and take home.  If you would like to do your own bag rather than just assist your child please purchase an additional ticket.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron.  Indigo is a dye and any splashes will stain.
