About CLOSE ENCOUNTERS With Materials and Microbes
An up-close and personal sensory exploration of human-material-microbe interaction, through urban mudlarking, microscopy, biscuit making and creative writing together. Where do microbes like to live? How do we feel about the materials in our environment? Does looking really closely change our behaviour and treatment of other matter and ecosystems?
Led by materials enthusiasts:
Sarah Wilkes - surfaces
Ellie Doney - food
Dan Robinson - writing
Bring food to share for a microscopic lunch from 1-2pm
