About Pelvic Tendinopathies: A Pragmatic & Evidenced Based Approach

This one day course will provide delegates with a balance of theoretical content supported by an emerging evidence base and practical application of rehab using established exercise prescription principles. 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Differentiate intra and extra articular disorders of the hip and groin using valid and reliable physical tests along with a detailed history.
  • Describe the current concepts in the aetiology and management of tendon disorders.
  • Identify the physical impairments , biomechanical factors and loading issues associated with the following tendinopathies:
    • Gluteal, Iliopsoas, Adductor Longus and Proximal Hamstring
  • Develop effective treatment strategies by managing the load on the tendon through exercise and education on the underlying pathomechanics.

 What's the refund policy?

Full refunds can be processed if requested via TicketLab no later than 30 days before the event.  Your refund will be processed within 7 days. Refunds after this date will be at the discretion of the course organisers.

Non attendance at the course carries a 100% cancellation fee. The organisers cannot refund delegates who fail to attend the course due to reasons outside their control.

 Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Substitutions of delegates can be made, providing notification to the organisers is made via email, to arrive no later than 2 days prior to the commencement of the course. You must state the full name, email address and contact telephone number of the substituted delegate at the time of notification of the substitution, if you are unable to attend.

Will the course programme change from that advertised?

Please be aware, due to unforeseen circumstances details may need to be altered from that advertised.  However, the overall quality of the course will not be affected and we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any changes.

What if the course is unable to take place?

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the course due to insufficient enrolment numbers.  Such a decision will be made at least 2 weeks before the scheduled conference date.  Delegates will be notified by e-mail and a full refund of conference fees will be provided. Every effort will be made to avoid cancellations.

The organisers shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations by reason of matters beyond its control including, but not limited to, any act of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, compliance with any law or government order, fire, flood or storm, strikes, or any other industrial dispute, delay in transit, power failure, postal delay, or any event that cannot be reasonably be planned for or avoided.

What if I have a medical condition or dietary requirement?

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are sufficiently fit and adequately equipped to partake in the course.  You must inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.  If for any reason you are not in a suitable condition to attend, or are under the influence of drink or drugs, the facilitator may ask you to leave the course.  We will not be liable for any extra expense incurred by this and you will not be able claim a refund.

Do I need to arrange for insurance?

Adequate personal insurance should be taken out as the organisers cannot be responsible for travel and accommodation costs should the course be cancelled.

The organisers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal items of the delegates or injury caused to a delegate. Delegates are advised to organise their own health insurance.
