About Bristol's Yuletide Grotto - Morning Ticket
Welcome one and Welcome All! We are back in the Vestibules this Christmas to present to the City it's FIRST yuletide grotto.
Similar to a Christmas Grotto, this is an exhibition filled with nature, lights and local folklore, we invite you to come and join us to learn about old Yule traditions and some of the hidden meanings behind our most common practices.
Abundant with celebration, evergreens, stories, otherworldly beings, shamanic influences, herbs, lights, wishing trees and treats, this is a Christmas experience that you wouldn't want to miss!
Come, share, learn, remember and take this wisdom back home with you to warm your hearth and spirits!
There will also be a Market Stall Selling Christmas Stocking Fillers and Somerset Folk Charms xx

WHAT THIS IS:
This is a small folklore exhibition (a grotto) created by a couple of gals to spread knowledge and joy and to help us support a permanent Folklore centre - one day in the future.
It has a wishing tree, mince pies, antiques, art and lots, LOTS of information.
It will take you a wee while to take everything in. If you walk around once and think you have read everything - I can guarantee you have missed a trick or two or all of them.
WHAT THIS IS NOT:
- A funded exhibition by the council nor anyone else
- A show, a storytelling night nor a performance
- An exhibition that spreads across several rooms
- An interactive flashy display
- Soulless

Please Note: This ticket is for a specific time slot so please take care to select the right date and time you need. We do not offer refunds, however, if you find you cannot make the exhibition please feel free to sell your ticket to someone that can.
The exhibition will discuss fertility and shamanic substances so may not be suitable for children. It is the parent's responsibility to ensure that they are happy to bring their own children to the event beforehand. All children under the age of 16 must be attended by an adult.
