GREEN TIME

GREEN TIME - This is the second of two taster sessions, Tuesday 3rd December, 10:00am - 11:30am. We will meet just before 10:00am at the Scout Hut entrance to Mill Meadows (Greens Farm Lane).

The group will be based in Mill Meadows on a Tuesday morning, term time only and will be available to book in half term blocks. Each session will cost £5. GREEN TIME block sessions will begin in January 2020

GREEN TIME is about enjoying and appreciating the natural world, natural play, sustainability and 'green parenting'.

The first half of the session will be 'walk and talk' - we will enjoy a trek around Mill Meadows, taking time to chat about things we see, hear, smell and touch. The second half of the session will be 'stay and play' - we will head back to the scout hut for some indoor play time. There will be a range of natural crafts, sensory activities and eco toys and games. We will be trying our very best to avoid plastic where possible, make choices that are sustainable and focus on having a minimal impact on the environment.
