About Rum Tasting at Rhythm Kitchen E17: Jamaica Night
We’re kicking off 2020 with one for the real connoisseurs - a trip around the lesser-known rums of Jamaica under the expert tutelage of Roger Barnes.
With a history of sugar production and distilling stretching back centuries, Jamaica is one of the places which immediately spring to mind when you first think about rum. The famous houses of Appleton Estate and Wray & Nephew might be found in most bars but this night is going to be all about the undiscovered and the rare treats - Hampden Estate, Monymusk Estate and Worthy Park Estate.
Roger will be guiding us around these through the evening and ticket price includes all your samples as well as, as usual, a specially created welcome cocktail and home-cooked food throughout the evening. It’s ticket-only and if the last few events are anything to go by this will sell out fast, so early booking is advised.
