About Young Hackney Fine Arts Easter Holiday Classes
Young Hackney Fine Arts two and a half hrs Fine Art drawing and painting class with all materials provided. We run two daily sessions on selected dates, 10:30 am till 1 pm and 2:30 pm till 5 pm. Should you book two sessions in one day, please note that we do not look after students during lunch break.
We have a high ratio of 5 students per teacher as we specialise in individualised learning, making our classes suitable for students of all levels and a wide range of abilities. We do not accept kids younger than 7 as our method of teaching and learning requires the developmental milestones of fine motor skills and ability to focus and stay seated normally reached by age 7.
I thoroughly recommend booking more than one session during a holiday period as more often than not kids can be disappointed at having to wait until the next holiday class to complete their work, creating fine art paintings can generally take up to 6 sessions to complete, some students take less and others take longer. Please be aware we teach fine art, our core values are to teach traditional drawing and painting techniques in a simplified way for kids to follow and to encourage our students to appreciate that great works of art take time, hard work, focus and determination to overcome difficulties. Our students greatly appreciate this as the rewards of their outcomes always surpass their expectations. Please do explain to your children before attending that works are only taken home once completed to avoid their disappointment.
On the day please send your kids with a snack and suitable clothing for making art.
