Three Chords and The Truth With Hannah, Richard Trethewey and Adam Rivers

Join songwriters Hannah, Richard Trethewey and Adam Rivers for Three Chords and the Truth: an intimate evening of unplugged original songs - part of a new series of Living Rooms Gigs organised by the artists themselves. 

Why are we doing this? With the introduction of streaming its harder than ever to turn a profit as a musician and this is a great way for us to reach new audiences.

About the artists:

Hannah: Hannah started songwriting in her early teens,  and has been likened to artists such as Joni Mitchell, Sara Bareilles and the Adele. Her three singles – ‘Circles’, ‘Look Good in Blue,’ & ‘Porcelain’ –  were all BBC Radio Leicester Introducing Track of the Week. She has supported award winning Irish folk group Blazin’ Fiddles, as well as sold out shows in London, where she is currently based. Hannah has written with no. 1 selling writers both in the UK and in Nashville, USA and has most recently been seen singing backing vocals for Danni Nicholls at the Americana Awards (Troxy, London).

Richard Trethewey: Richard is a singer and musician with a fierce pride for the traditions, history and culture of his native Cornwall. He currently performs with a far reaching and eclectic range of musicians including multi award winning ‘The Rowan Tree’, ‘Brother Sea’, ‘Didjan’ and as a solo artist too. Richard studied for a BMus on the Newcastle-based Folk Music Degree before going on to train as a Music Therapist.

Adam Rivers: Adam Rivers is a singer-songwriter and guitar player. Expect bluesy overtones with a sprinkle of pop, folk, soul and rock n roll.  His performance brings together his powerful vocals, accompanied by soulful guitar playing.  A former music student of Goldsmiths University, Rivers has played in an array of lineups at many venues across the UK and Europe.  In 2020 he releases his debut single as a solo artist.
