In post-Olympic East London, Hackney Wick has gone from being the densest concentration of artists in Europe to a place where studios and arts spaces struggle to survive the redevelopment of what is now a Creative Enterprise Zone. On this socially-distanced small-group walk we'll visit at least two key arts locations in Hackney Wick and meet the people behind them. Hear how a community has attempted to mitigate the negative effects of gentrification and how these arts spaces are fighting to still deliver the grassroots cultural activities that drew people here in the first place.
