About Vintage Humans -Concession
Vintage Humans is an intergenerational festival celebrating what we gain with age. Why do we value age in objects but not in people? How can we change perceptions of ageing across age groups? In 2016 we commissioned a series of short response pieces from writers and theatre makers ranging from 25 to 91 to explore these questions.
Our Silver Sunday pop up event, will include response plays by Louise Jameson (Dr Who, Eastenders), Archie Maddocks (Royal Court, Bush), Caitlin Shannon (Orange Tree) and our short film Eighty What? by Ann Queensberry (Tenko). All this alongside musical bingo compered by E17 stalwart Auntie Maureen, a vintage fair, our Vintage Humans radio series and of course tea and cake.
#letsgettogether and celebrate all things vintage!
Vintage Humans is kindly supported by the Borough of Waltham Forest, Arts Council England and Unity Theatre Trust
Suitable for all adult age groups
