Hornbeam Herbals: Winter Mushroom Medicine

November's Hornbeam Herbals session is an exciting collaboration with the world of the medicinal mushrooms. We welcome Ru Kenyon, passionate fungus forager and maker of the mushroom cultivation project at Organiclea's Hawkwood Nursery, Fungus Among Us.

Come join us for an evening of learning and sharing about the health-supporting activity of these little beings, and with Ru and Rasheeqa, make a medicinal preparation with shrooms foraged locally. We'll be looking at Birch Polypore, Reishi and Ancient Reishi as wild allies of these lands, and concocting an immune-supporting extract to take home.

If you feel a yearning to connect more with the mushrooms, this will be an excellent opportunity to share knowledge together. Organiclea are also running a Mushroom Cultivation course in November.
