About Embodied Sound
An hour's morning mix of free movement and sound meditation to balance and maintain your mental wellbeing.
In Embodied Sound we will spend the first half, breathing, tapping on specific points of the body with easy to follow meridian stretches and do-in techniques. Breathing, brushing, rolling, stroking and shaking the body. We will focus on listening to our body and individual needs. This lightly guided and free movement will help loosen up the muscles, stretch out the limbs, warm us up, break up physical and emotional stagnation and free up the mind. Now we're ready to rest and calm the nervous system, as we drop to the floor and receive soothing sounds.
In the Sound Meditation, I will use my voice, koshi chimes, tuning forks, ocean drum and singing bowls to create an energizing yet calming effect. I will soften you into your body after movement with gentle breathing and body relaxation techniques.
Bring anything to help you be comfortable: a light blanket, something to cover your eyes and a bottle of water. Wear loose clothing.

"I just wanted to say an extra thank you for the powerful sound bath yesterday - it was amazing! Afterwards I suddenly felt that I could really accept my whole body, and then slept so well as a result.. it was lovely and extremely healing, thank you. Wishing you all the goodness of the air and the beautiful melodies you've sent out into it."
