The impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is being felt by businesses around the world Including here in Waltham Forest. To date the council has paid £37 million in business grants, granted the value of £368k rent holidays to a number of commercial council tenants and assisted over 1000 businesses through our dedicated SPOC. As lockdown eases, and businesses resume trading we've invited senior council officers to directly engage with local businesses via this special online event to give them an update on the toolkit of business support available to assist them. There will be a Q&A session and we will be inviting you to pose your own questions ahead of the meeting.

We'll also be hearing from local businesses offering tips on on how they've handled the pandemic.
